I am Eun0us, an embedded security researcher focused on IoT and OT systems.
My work revolves around hardware protocols, firmware security, and the security of industrial systems. I founded Espilon, an open-source association for embedded security research, presented at LeHack 2025.
This blog is where I publish research notes, CTF write-ups, and technical articles on embedded security.
What I do
- IoT / OT / hardware security research
- Embedded development on ESP32 (ESP-IDF, FreeRTOS)
- Firmware and protocol reverse engineering
- Writing complete courses, workshops and CTF challenges on Espilon Learn
Espilon Learn
Beyond breaking things, I teach them. On Espilon Learn I write full courses, guided workshops and complete hardware, IoT and OT challenges, the kind of content used to run and train for CTFs. Courses, labs and challenges are wired together into learning paths, free and open.
Projects
- emon, a universal serial monitor for embedded devices
- Espilon Learn, the courses, labs and CTF training platform
- Espilon CTF, the hardware, IoT and OT CTF platform
- Espilon Source, an ESP32 security framework
